Quetzal earrings

The Quetzal earrings are made on a long hook. The half-moon is made of rhodium-plated 316L steel. Rhodium is a rare and noble metal in the platinum group. Extremely expensive (more than gold), it is silvery white in colour and, above all, very hard and rustproof at room temperature. What's more, it doesn't tarnish over time. Applying a thin layer of rhodium also enables silver jewellery to retain its colour, while giving it a whiter, brighter sheen than conventional silver jewellery. Silver is by nature oxidisable and, over time, it becomes tarnished. So rhodium-plating ensures that your jewellery will shine as brightly over time as it did on the very first day. These are long earrings with a total length of 4cm.
