The workshop
Hands, materials, and all the time it takes
Silhaos is a family workshop nestled in the heart of Périgord. Every piece is born here, from choosing natural stones to the finishing touches. No mass production, no subcontracting.
(01)How we work
Four steps, one standard
01
Choosing materials
Natural stones, colourful enamels, 14k gold filled, 316L steel and plant seeds harvested in French Guiana with local communities: each component is chosen for its beauty and durability.
02
Assembling by hand
Mounting, polishing, setting: every step happens in the workshop, piece by piece, in small batches.
03
Checking every piece
Clasps, lengths, finishes: nothing leaves without being checked and adjusted.
04
Preparing with care
Each piece is packed to be given or kept, then shipped within 24–48h.
« We don't make jewelry to fill shop windows. We make pieces we'd be proud to wear ourselves. »
(02)Seeds from French Guiana
Materials with a story
Some of our plant seeds are harvested in French Guiana, directly with local communities. They bring their natural shades and lightness to our jewelry.
